Knowledge Management within Customer Services – could SharePoint be your enabler?

With customers changing expectations of service and the different ways they want to interact with organisations it is important to understand where your knowledge resides.  The multi channel and 24hr world creates new demands on your organisation, therefore effectively managing the customer lifecycle within this dynamic environment is crucial to a successful business.

The ability to deliver effective customer service and lifecycle management relies on your Knowledge Management strategy.  A Knowledge Management strategy should mutually co-exist with your IT, HR and Operations strategy.  This session will look at Knowledge Management theory and principles, focussing specifically on how IT in particular, can be an enabler of Knowledge Management. These principles will then be related to functionality provided by SharePoint or various add ons within the context of customer service.
