C-SPUG Announcements: Christchurch SharePoint User Group Meeting - May 19th at the CII - MOSS for Business Intelligence

Title

Christchurch SharePoint User Group Meeting - May 19th at the CII - MOSS for Business Intelligence

Body

MOSS for Business Intelligence
MOSS can form a vital part of your Business Intelligence picture.  In this session we will show how MOSS can provide reporting and KPIs in its own right but also be the presentation layer for other sources of information from the enterprise.   Business Intelligence is a logical point of entry onto the MOSS platform or can form an easy point of extension to an existing installation.

Both business and technical people who attend will gain some insights.   We will present a model of how to think about which users in the organisation need what level of reporting and how much they might need to interact with the information.  The relevant tool sets will be discussed with how they fit together to provide for a company-wide reporting and BI strategy.  There will be some short technology demonstrations to help explain the relevance of the tools and show the way the component parts can be pulled together through MOSS.
