Description/Agenda

SharePoint just installed as a product adds little or no value. And once installed and configured it is essential for organisations to understand the planning, roles, responsibilities and ongoing review required to leverage the initial investment in SharePoint. Governance for SharePoint is applied both from a systems and process point of view by using built in tools and adopting a flexible business enabling framework. In this session Chandima will share with you essential Governance planning steps for SharePoint deployments of any size. You will learn how to avoid some of the most common mistakes of SharePoint and how to approach your overall solution architecture and deployment in a modular framework that can scale from small to enterprise.

Intended Audience: Managers, business analysts, architects, information workers, project managers, IT professionals, and developers will all gain insight from this non-technical event.
